Alison Goodman
Westcor Style Panel
“I love dresses of all kinds,” says Alison. But far from a girly-girl, Alison lists baseball and being outdoors as her great loves, too. It’s this contrast that gives her such a unique style. It also explains her two favorite things: A black BCBG wrap dress and a gray U of A sweatshirt. Her style isn’t the only thing hard to pin down. Alison moved to Phoenix from Chicago, but she spends a lot of time in L.A. in the trendy shops on Melrose Avenue.

Favorite Places to Shop
I love shopping at French Connection, BCBG and Anthropologie, all at Kierland Commons, and can’t ever resist the lure of Nordstrom at Scottsdale Fashion Square. And when I’m in the mood to bargain shop, Last Chance at Camelback Colonnade is sure to please.
Favorite Shopping Memory
One of my favorite memories is my holiday shopping time spent with my parents in downtown Chicago. The spirit of the season is undeniable and puts everyone in a great mood, no matter how cold the weather gets.
Favorite Weekend Event
When it starts to heat up in the spring, I love lying by the pool; it’s one of the most relaxing things I do! And catching up with a friend over lunch or a pedicure is a must-do weekend activity.
Favorite Style
My favorite styles run the gamut - I love the looks from the 60’s and 70s currently made famous by Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe, as well as the girlie looks from Nanette Lepore. And no one is chicer than Diane von Furstenberg.
Most Coveted piece of clothing in your closet
There are two I have to mention: a high-waisted skirt from BCBG that I wish I could wear everyday and a pair of Citizens jeans that fit perfectly (when I’m in heels, of course).
Shopping Find Most Proud of
I’m a bargain hunter, so there are plenty of pieces in my closet that I’m proud of: I bought a tweed jacket that cost 90% less than its original price and a black dress that was only $50 after starting at $300. And when I find great items at lower prices, I don’t feel guilty about buying more.
